If you’re reading this you must be an artist looking to showcase your work on our site and, with any luck, sell some prints. This page is intended to explain how it works and why it’s a good idea.

The first thing to say is that as a contributing artist you will never pay anything to Projeto Gallery, money will only flow in one direction, from Projeto Gallery to you. The only commitment required is that you advise Projeto Gallery if you intend to distribute your work via any other route to market in the UK in addition to Projeto Gallery. This is important to ensure that Projeto Gallery is not falsely advertising exclusive UK distribution at any time.

While your work is featured on the Projeto Gallery site it may be made available to purchase as a print in three ways:

1. Online retail sales to individual customers via www.projetogallery.com
2. Store based retail sales to individual customers in any Projeto Gallery store.
3. Wholesale sales to UK galleries via the Projeto Gallery catalogue
   

Projeto Gallery strongly believes in two things:

1. Artists should be financially rewarded as generously as possible when a customer buys their work.
2. Art should be affordable so that anyone can buy in to it and enjoy it.
   

Obviously the above two objectives are in direct conflict as a lower price leaves less opportunity for commission. Projeto Gallery has attempted to strike the right balance on pricing but reserves the right to amend prices in future.

So your financial reward? You will receive 30% of every sale. Be that online, store based or wholesale. Payment is made monthly and is accompanied by a summary of your sales so that you know which pieces have sold and in which sizes. You and Projeto Gallery both retain the right to remove your work from the site at any time.
